Parklands Bowling Club has a commitment to provide a wide choice of both Social and Competitive bowling for it's members.

A Club programme in handy booklet form is provided to all bowling members at the beginning of each season.  This programme details all bowling with full date and time information.

Please see below a summary of our Social Bowls, Member's Tournaments, Club Competitions and Interclub games for the present 2011/2012 season.

Parklands bowls club has a wide range of friendly and social type bowling it the programme.  In particular we have a number of roll-ups that are open to bowling members and visiting club bowlers.

Bowling members of any bowling club from anywhere in New Zealand or overseas are welcome to join our Club Roll-ups on Thursday afternoon or Saturday afternoon during the bowling season.

There are also Club Tournaments that are open to the members of any bowling club.  These include the very popular 4-2-4 Pairs mini tournament held once a month on a Thursday morning.

Parklands Bowling Club enters as many teams as possible in the Bowls Canterbury Interclub Games.  Our aim is to give our members a wide range of Interclub options bowling against teams at all levels of the competition.

We also enter 4 rinks in the Mens Tuesday afternoon friendlies.

Each season the club has a wide range of club competitions for both senior and junior members.  We use a format where many of the competitions are played in a round-robin format for the first 4 games.  This had the advantage that every entrant plays a certain number of games before the knock-out phase starts.
