Parklands Bowling Club is one of the premier bowling clubs in Christchurch.  We are one of the youngest clubs in the city, known by many as the “Friendly Club”.  

The club has two well-prepared greens that were in excellent condition last bowls season and work has begun to prepare them for the new season starting September 2010.   We will again provide a vast range of bowling opportunities for our members; including a choice of club Roll-ups, Tournaments, Competitions and multiple Senior/Junior Interclub teams.

Parklands Bowling Club serves a large area of North East Christchurch, including Queenspark, Burwood, Forest Park, Waimairi Beach, Marshlands, Avondale, Tumara Park, Mairehau and New Brighton

We welcome new members, either existing bowlers or those new to the sport. If new to bowls we provide free coaching so that you can experience the game before you progress to one of our club roll-ups as a visitor.  The coaching will begin again in October 2010 ready for the new bowls season.

We have one of the strongest junior squads in Christchurch and are holders of both the "Howard Smith Trophy" and the "Junior BB Pairs" competition for two consecutive years.  (Junior bowlers are bowlers of any age that have 5 years or less bowling experience).
